The Charleston Place offers valet parking at the hotel’s main entrance, located at 201 Meeting Street. Valet parking is available at $62 per night.

Electra Aircraft Demonstration - Port of Charleston

Hosted by Electra at the Port of Charleston, this off-site event gives summit attendees a live look at the EL2 hybrid-electric aircraft—the technology demonstrator behind Electra's EL9, a forthcoming nine-seat Ultra Short Takeoff and Landing aircraft designed for the 50- to 500-mile regional routes most travellers currently drive.

The program will feature welcome remarks from Electra CEO B. Marc Allen, followed by a flight demonstration in which the EL2 will land/takeoff from a working urban pier and execute a quiet flyover—bringing to life what Electra calls Direct Aviation, a new category of regional aviation. Guided aircraft tours and informal conversation with the Electra team will follow.

Summit attendees will be the first audience to see Direct Aviation in practice. 

Complimentary shuttles will depart from Charleston Place Hotel beginning at 5:50 PM. No RSVP is required. Following the demonstration transfers will be provided directly to the Joint CAPA & GAD Networking Dinner at The Cooper. As with any flight operation, the event is weather-dependent; any schedule changes will be communicated through summit channels.
